The Pro model is for clinicians who need more light than the Core provides and who cannot have the light run out during a session. It is specified at ≥50,000 lux at a 40 cm working distance with CRI ≥95, and it ships with dual hot-swap batteries so you can keep working through a battery change rather than stopping.

Lead time — the part most listings leave out
This is our first production run. Units ship from our Toronto warehouse as they arrive, and we are not going to quote you a delivery date we cannot hold. So:
• Contact us for the current lead time before ordering if you need the light for a specific date. We will give you our best estimate in writing.
• We confirm your estimated ship date within one business day of your order.
• If you need a headlight now, the Core model is in stock today — 35,000 lux, ~12 g lamp head, USB-C, and it fits the same loupes on the same T-mount. We would rather sell you the one you can have this week than take your order for the one you cannot.
Why the lux figure is quoted at a working distance, and why that matters
Light falls off with distance, so a lux figure on its own means nothing. Every figure we quote is measured at 40 cm — roughly the distance from your eyes to a patient's mouth when you are wearing loupes. This is the number that describes what you will actually experience.
If you see a headlight advertised with a very large lux figure and no stated distance, that figure was almost certainly measured as close to the emitter as possible. It is not comparable to ours, and it is not comparable to anything you will see while working.
Colour rendering is not a decoration
CRI describes how faithfully a light reproduces colour. Under a low-CRI light, tissue looks flatter and you lose the subtle differences — early decay, inflammation, the margins between materials — that you rely on to make a judgement. Our Core uses a high-CRI medical-grade LED; the Pro is specified at CRI ≥95.
Weight, because you wear it all day
The Core lamp head is approximately 12 g without the battery. On a loupe frame this is the difference between lighting that disappears into your working day and lighting that you are aware of by mid-afternoon.
What we can state plainly
• We quote lux at 40 cm and say so. Compare any other product on the same terms before you decide.
• The mount is a universal T-mount. It fits CliniEco Flip-Up Dental Loupes and most standard loupes and headbands, so you are not locked into one system.
• Battery behaviour is stated, not implied. If a light will not run continuously without a swap, we say so and tell you what solves it, rather than describing "all-day battery life" and leaving you to find out.
