Ultrasonic Cleaners — Benchtop & Enzyme Solution
A 6 L benchtop ultrasonic cleaner that takes a full instrument cassette, plus the multi-enzyme concentrate that goes in it. The unit is cETL certified by Intertek to CSA C22.2 No. 68 and UL 73, runs on AC 100–120 V / 60 Hz, and is imported into Canada by CliniEco Medical (Health Canada MDEL #35334). Ships from Toronto.
Why 6 L is the size that matters
Most benchtop ultrasonic cleaners sold online are built for jewellery, glasses and dentures: small tanks, low cost, and no room for a standard dental instrument cassette. If the tank cannot take the cassette, someone ends up unpacking instruments or running the bath twice — every day.
| Tank capacity | What fits | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Under 3 L | Loose handpieces, retainers, loupes | Very low volume, ortho, solo |
| 6 L (this unit) | A full instrument cassette | General practice, hygiene |
| 8 L and up | Multiple cassettes, larger runs | High volume, labs |

Many low-cost units online carry FCC, CE and RoHS marks only. Those are not electrical safety certifications for a clinical setting — cETL to CSA C22.2 No. 68 and UL 73 is the mark to look for.
Enzyme cleaning solution: dilution and cost per litre
The concentrate is a five-enzyme formula (protease, lipase, amylase, cellulase, mannanase) with chelating agents and non-ionic surfactants, neutral pH, low-foaming so cavitation stays efficient.
| Item | Figure |
|---|---|
| Bottle size | 4 L concentrate |
| Price | $59.97 per 3-pack of 4 L bottles (≈ $19.99 per bottle; sold as a 3-pack only) |
| Dilution — ultrasonic / washer-disinfector | 1:200 per label |
| Dilution — immersion | 1:100 to 1:200 per label |
| Working solution per bottle | up to 800 L at 1:200 |
| Cost per litre of working solution | about $0.025 |
One 6 L bath fill therefore costs roughly $0.15 in chemistry. That is the number to use when you are comparing "cheap" cleaner solutions against a concentrate: the bottle price says little, the cost per litre of working solution says everything.
This is a cleaning agent — it carries no disinfectant or sterilization claim, so no DIN is required. SDS/WHMIS documentation is available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will a full instrument cassette fit in the 6 L tank?
Yes. That is the reason this size exists in the range: a full cassette fits in one cycle, so instruments are not unpacked for cleaning.
What electrical certification does the cleaner carry?
cETL by Intertek to CSA C22.2 No. 68 and UL 73, on AC 100–120 V / 60 Hz. FCC, CE and RoHS alone are not electrical safety certifications.
How much does the cleaning solution cost per bath?
About $0.15 for a 6 L fill: one 4 L bottle (≈ $19.99 of the $59.97 3-pack) at 1:200 dilution yields up to 800 L of working solution, about $0.025 per litre.
Does the solution require a DIN?
No. It is a cleaning agent with no disinfectant or sterilization claim, so no Health Canada DIN is required. It is supplied with SDS/WHMIS documentation.
Is there a minimum order?
No. The cleaner is sold as a single unit; the concentrate is sold as a 3-pack ($59.97).
