When it is not
If your people are handling solvents, heavy mechanical work or long immersion in aggressive chemistry, a heavier glove (4.5 mil and up) will last longer per pair — ask us and we will point you at one. And if the job is purely non-medical housekeeping, a non-medical glove will cost you less for the same protection.
Comparing it with a 3.5 g non-medical glove
A "3.5 g" glove is specified by the weight of a single glove; "3.2 mil" is specified by wall thickness — they are two different measurements, so the numbers do not sit side by side. As a rule of thumb, a 3.2 mil glove in XL weighs in the same 3.5 g range.
