At CliniEco Medical, patient and user safety is our highest priority. This page provides information about our product safety practices and what to do if you have a safety concern.

Our Safety Commitment

All CliniEco Medical products are sourced from ISO 13485 certified manufacturers. Our quality management system, developed in accordance with Health Canada's Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL) requirements, includes procedures for complaint handling, recall management, adverse event reporting, and product traceability.

Product Recall Process

In the event of a product recall, CliniEco Medical follows a documented recall procedure (SOP-02) that includes:

  1. Identification: Potential issue identified through complaint monitoring or quality testing
  2. Classification: Recall classified by severity (Class I, II, or III per Health Canada guidelines)
  3. Notification: All affected customers contacted directly via phone and email with recall instructions
  4. Return/Disposal: Prepaid return shipping provided; alternative disposal instructions available
  5. Reporting: Health Canada notified as required by regulation (SOR/98-282)
  6. Corrective Action: Root cause investigation and preventive measures implemented

Adverse Event Reporting

Healthcare professionals and patients are encouraged to report any adverse events related to CliniEco Medical products:

  • Report directly to us using the contact information above
  • You may also report directly to Health Canada via the MedEffect Canada portal
  • All reported adverse events are documented, investigated, and reported to Health Canada as required by the Medical Devices Regulations (SOR/98-282)

Product Traceability

Each product batch is traceable from supplier through to end customer. Our traceability system (SOP-04) enables rapid identification of affected products in the event of a quality issue.
