A dry-block incubator built for sterility assurance programmes: hold self-contained biological indicator vials at 56–60 °C for the 24-hour readout, with no water bath and no separate reader to buy.
- Transparent lid for heat preservation — your vials sit in the block for a full 24 hours, and the lid keeps both the heat in and the dust out. The lid is closed by hand.
- Two heating blocks — 40 wells in total, so a full set of 25 spore tests plus controls runs in a single batch.
- Temperature uniformity ±0.2 °C at 37 °C, control accuracy ±0.3 °C across 25–90 °C. Runs from room temperature +5 °C up to 105 °C, with 0.1 °C display resolution.
- Supports a PT1000 external sensor, so you can read from a reference point rather than the block.

For biological indicator incubation
Intended for steam-cycle biological indicators — Geobacillus stearothermophilus self-contained vials to ISO 11138-3 — incubated between 55 and 60 °C with a 24-hour readout. The 11 mm wells take vials with a body diameter of 8 mm and a cap diameter of 10 mm.
What this unit does, and does not, do
The result is read visually on the indicator itself: the medium stays purple when the cycle passes and turns yellow on a failure. This unit is an incubator, not a reader — it does not interpret fluorescent or rapid-readout indicators, which require a fluorescence reader. It does not record or export data; temperature and time are shown on the LED display and are kept on your daily record sheet.
