UN3373 Specimen Transport Bags — 95 kPa Certified
For laboratories, POCT networks and research facilities that ship Category B biological substances — including by air. Each bag is pressure-tested to 95 kPa and built as a three-wall transport bag with an outer document pouch and an internal absorbent pad, so the primary receptacle stays contained even if it leaks in transit.
Key features
- 95 kPa pressure-tested — meets the pressure differential requirement used for air transport of liquids as secondary packaging under IATA Packing Instruction 650 / UN3373 Category B
- Three-wall construction — inner absorbent layer, main leak-resistant bag, outer layer
- Outer document pouch — requisition form stays outside the biohazard bag; no need to open the bag to read or scan paperwork
- Built-in absorbent pad (approx. 3 × 5 in) — absorbs the full liquid volume of a typical specimen container
- Press-to-close seal with barcode / write-on zone — pre-printed area for a barcode label or handwriting
- Size: 6 in × 9 in (150 × 240 mm) — fits standard urine, stool and sputum containers
Intended use & compliance
Designed as secondary packaging within a Category B (UN3373) packaging system. Whether a specific shipment is fully compliant depends on your complete packaging assembly, your absorbent capacity and your carrier's requirements — always work to your own SOP and the current IATA / TDG rules.
Packing
- 100 bags per pack · 10 packs per case (1,000 bags)
Need a lower-cost bag for ground transport only? Our 3-Wall Specimen Transport Bags are made for clinics, walk-in practices and long-term care — no 95 kPa requirement.
