15–20 mmHg graduated compression stockings in knee-high and thigh-high options, sizes S–XL, with a measuring guide in every box. Breathable nylon/spandex, latex-free, and sized by calf and ankle circumference rather than by shoe or clothing size.
Who uses 15–20 mmHg compression
Grade 1 compression is the everyday range: clinics that fit stockings after minor procedures and during recovery, occupational-health and return-to-work programs, staff who stand for a full shift, long-haul travellers, and home-care organisations supporting clients who have been advised by a clinician to wear compression. Long-term care homes also keep a small range on hand for residents who arrive with a fitting already recommended.
Compression stockings are a support garment. Where a clinician has set the pressure, the class and the wear schedule, follow that instruction — this product supplies the 15–20 mmHg range they will most often ask for.

How do I measure for compression stockings?
Two measurements decide the size: ankle circumference at the narrowest point, and calf circumference at the widest point. Take both against bare skin with the tape snug but not indenting, and measure in the morning before any swelling builds. Thigh-high styles add a thigh measurement. If the ankle and calf measurements fall into two different sizes, choose the size that fits the ankle — that is where graduated compression does its work — and check the calf is not over-compressed.
What is the difference between 15–20 mmHg and higher classes?
15–20 mmHg is grade 1, the lightest common range, used for everyday support and for wear during ordinary activity. Higher classes (20–30 mmHg and above) are selected by a clinician for specific indications and are noticeably harder to put on. For most clinic, workplace and travel use, grade 1 is the range that gets worn consistently — which matters, because a stocking that is uncomfortable is a stocking that stays in the drawer.
How do I put them on without straining the fabric?
Put the stocking on in the morning. Gather the leg of the stocking up to the heel, ease it over the foot, then roll it up the leg a little at a time rather than pulling from the top edge. A light dusting of talc-free powder on a dry leg helps. Never pull hard on the top band — that is what stretches the elastic out and shortens the working life of the garment.
Quality, documentation and institutional ordering
CliniEco Medical is a Toronto-based importer and distributor serving Canadian clinics, dental practices, laboratories, long-term care homes and home-care organisations. A full specification sheet is available for institutional orders, and batch documentation can be supplied on request.
Mixed-size case quantities and recurring supply plans are available through our wholesale desk — a practical option for clinics that fit patients every week and would rather not carry four separate size lines. Larger institutional orders can be quoted for freight delivery instead of parcel delivery.
Frequently asked questions
Are open-toe styles available?
Style availability varies by size run. Tell us the ankle and calf ranges you fit most often and we will confirm what is available in those sizes before you order.
Can stockings be re-issued to another patient?
No. Stockings are a personal garment and should be issued to one wearer only. Case quantities ordered for clinic use are intended to be dispensed to patients for home use, not re-used between patients.
Do you sell the measuring tape separately?
No — a measuring tape is included in every box so the ankle and calf measurements can be taken at the fitting, and the same tape stays with the packaging for the next re-order.
Can you supply product numbers and a sizing table for tenders?
Yes. Product numbers, the sizing table and supporting documentation can be provided for tender and contract pricing requests.
Should I order by shoe size or by circumference?
By circumference. Ankle and calf measurements determine the fit; shoe size does not. The measuring tape in the box is there so the two numbers can be taken correctly the first time.
Can stockings be worn on a long flight?
Grade 1 compression is commonly worn for long periods of sitting. Where a clinician has advised a specific class or schedule, follow that advice.
How long does a pair last?
With hand-washing and air-drying, a pair typically stays in service for several months of regular wear. Machine-washing and tumble-drying are the fastest ways to lose the graduated compression.
